Who we are

Hey Mamma! ("we", "us") is a pregnancy companion app operated at heymamma.ai. We can be reached at hello@heymamma.ai.

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, password (hashed).
• Pregnancy data you enter: due date, baby name, daily check-ins (moods, symptoms, cravings, journal notes), photos, baby names list, birth plan, milestones, sleep logs, contractions, hospital bag.
• Mamma AI conversations: messages you send to Mamma so we can return a reply.
• Subscription info: plan, status, period end. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see them.
• Partner info: if you invite a co-baker, their name and email.

How we use it

To run the app: show your week, generate Mamma AI responses, save your journey, send you reminders you opted into, and process your subscription. We do not sell your data. Ever.

Your privacy rights

All users: You can request a copy of all your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@heymamma.ai.

California residents (CCPA): We do not sell your personal information to any third party. You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any data sharing — though we do not share personal data for advertising purposes.

European residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. You may also object to or restrict processing. We process your data based on your consent (account creation) and our legitimate interest in providing the service. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@heymamma.ai.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all your personal data — including check-ins, journal entries, photos, and Mamma conversations — within 30 days. Some anonymized aggregate data (never linked to you) may be retained for product improvement.

How to delete your data

You can request full account and data deletion at any time by emailing privacy@heymamma.ai with the subject line "Delete my account." We will confirm deletion within 30 days. Alternatively, contact us at hello@heymamma.ai with any privacy questions.

Who can see your data

Only you. Photos and entries are stored privately and protected by row-level security so other users cannot read your data. If you enable partner sharing, your invited co-baker can see what you share. Mamma AI requests are sent to our AI provider (Google / OpenAI via Lovable AI Gateway) to generate replies and are not used to train their models.

Storage & security

Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure (Supabase / Lovable Cloud). Photos live in a private bucket. Connections use TLS.

Your rights

You can edit or delete any entry inside the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@heymamma.ai and we'll remove everything within 30 days. You can also disable partner sharing at any time in Profile.

Children

Hey Mamma! is for adults (16+). It is not intended for children under 13.

Medical disclaimer

Hey Mamma! is a companion, not a medical provider. Mamma AI is not a doctor. Always consult your OB or midwife for medical decisions.

Changes

If we update this policy we'll bump the date above and notify you in-app for material changes.
